Immigration is in the headlines on a daily basis in the U.S. due to sweeping, systemic changes being implemented by the current administration. Now more than ever, stakeholders in global talent mobility - including international students, employers, immigration law professionals, and local policymakers - are trying to make sense of the path forward. This year's IHP Career Kickstarter will focus on just this: providing clarity and direction.

When: Tuesday, October 20, 4:30 - 7:00pm
Where: CIC (UCity Science Center), 3675 Market St, Philadelphia, 3rd Floor
Who: International students & scholars, stakeholders in talent mobility

Attendees will have a chance to network with a diverse variety of students and professionals, enjoy free food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and attend breakout sessions on a variety of topics.
This event will be followed in December by IHP Career Connect - a career fair (at the same location) specifically for international students featuring employers willing to hire (and in some cases sponsor) candidates on a visa. Consider the Kickstarter as preparation!

Breakout Sessions:
Expert-led sessions for students and professionals
Talking about visa status as a job candidate
Employment-based visa pathways
Navigating immigration uncertainty under current administration
Resume Workshop
Professional Networking

Suggested donation of $5 per ticket.
